Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 17, 2026 · Last Updated: July 24, 2026 · Version 1.1

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Algorithmic Muse Technology LLC, operating as “Algorithmic Muse Academy” (“we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit or use academy.algorithmicmuse.com (the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Enrollment form data: full name, email address, phone number, current role, experience level, learning goal, referral source, and any free-text notes you choose to include. Please do not include sensitive personal information (such as health details) in the notes field.
  • Account information: name and email address provided during sign-in via Clerk (Google, LinkedIn, or GitHub).

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Progress data: module completion status, quiz and exam results, learning streaks, and your last-visited lesson. For signed-in users this data is stored both locally in your browser (IndexedDB) and in our database (Amazon DynamoDB, hosted on AWS in the United States), keyed to your account, so your progress syncs across devices. If you are not signed in, progress stays in your browser only.
  • Session data: authentication tokens and session identifiers managed by Clerk.
  • Cookies: a functional enrollment cookie (“enrolled”, holding your cohort date) to recognize returning enrollees, and session authentication cookies required for sign-in.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools (no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels).
  • We do not collect payment or financial information.
  • We do not collect sensitive personal information (race, health, biometrics).
